From
The Assistant Net Manager
Welcome to the DTTN and the DTTN web page! I hope you got here on purpose, and if not take a minute to poke around anyway. We look forward to hearing from you as to what we can do to improve the web page. Join us on the air on 7.285 MHz for a net that does it's very best to not take itself to seriously, EXCEPT when it's time to buckle down and the great bunch of hams that start their day on here know how to get the job done! I am proud to be a part of this net and look forward to hearing you on the air.

ABOUT THE DAYTIME TEXAS TRAFFIC NET
The Daytime Texas Traffic Net (DTTN) is part of the National Traffic System (NTS) of the American Radio Relay League (ARRL). The DTTN meets Monday through Saturday at 8:30 A.M. Central Time on a frequency on or about 7.285 MHz.
The DTTN relies heavily on liaison stations to move traffic into and out of Texas as well as convening at the discretion of the Net Manager to assist in emergency or special events communications.
An amateur radio operator does not have to be a member to check into the net but they are required to hold a General class license or higher. You are not required to send or receive traffic in order to be a member. Also, you do not have to be in or from Texas to check into the net. All people are welcome!!!
All Amateur Radio Stations licensed to operate on this frequency are welcome to check in with or without traffic and are not required to take traffic in order to participate.
